As a digital creator, it’s easy to get taken advantage of and ripped off. I’ve had my logo stolen, my content stolen, my identity stolen… YOU NAME IT. But today, my Instagram account, which I’ve spent a year tirelessly growing and building the (dare I say) best community EVER, was hacked and deleted.
This has become a HUGE problem in the digital space as of late – but I’ll write a longer post on that later.
After a number of you amazing ppl reported to me that my IG account was gone, I got these three terrifying emails in rapid succession:
So basically, Anna Scherbakova and/or “PunPam” are holding my little baby for RANSOM.
I’m trying not to panic (*eye twitch*… easier said than done). There is literally no way to report this or contact Instagram.
Dear Insta – NO SHIT. I would reset my password if I could. But I can’t. I’m caught in a loop.
what can you do to help?
We need to get Instagram’s attention. If Brains over Blonde has ever helped you in any way, please do me a solid and share the below image on your IG story and TAG @instagram and @facebook:
